Advanced automation enables control by on-board pilot or by un-crewed drone system, creating an “Optionally Piloted Aircraft” (OPA) that reduces or even removes human fatigue and risk to life.
Proven equipment provides fuel or receives fuel airborne, keeping the aircraft fighting the fire longer and minimizing expensive flight hours wasted in transit to ground fueling sources.
